“Vesania” is a latin voice translated as “madness”. But “madness” plunged into this collection is not a destructive, uncontrolled one, but more like a dreamy mind trip thru an ever-changing site, filled with ear-catchy details. Along these tracks, digital turns into acoustic, and viceversa. Human pulse and automated beats live together in perfect harmony in his sound. For “El Doctor” is not confined to his machinery’s circuits, but uses them to slip thru electronica, folklore, trova, and rock realms. He approaches his guitar skillfully, not just for simplistic decoration, but flowing melodically over the rhythm sections, but mutating them surprisingly, turning it into part of the beats.
