The Revolution Void recording is excellent and shows quite a gifted blend of sounds that defy genre specification, coming together and becoming quite cohesive. This is a very eclectic recording and one that certainly rewards the listener with a palette for new and intriguing sound. This is a great disc, and one that listeners should definitely look into.
The album Increase the Dosage features guest performances by musicians such as Seamus Blake (the Mingus Big Band), Michael Shrieve (Santana) and Matthew Garrison (Herbie Hancock).
The album was released initially on 4/4/2004 but the short-run self-released pressing quickly sold out. It was released again on 9/25/05 in a web package with full album art.

“Viya, the live performance band which frequently plays on stage in clubs across Taksim / İstanbul and a lot of festivals in Turkey. Viya means ‘body surfing’ in the Laz language. Formed in june 2008 with Zeynep Türkmen on Violin; Özgür Çakır on Guitar and Sound effects; Barış Demirel on Bass Guitars, melodicas, vocals; Aydın Türkoğlu on Drums. The group is best known for its keenness for improvisation and melting of folk with jazz, rock sounds. They just work on their job in a narrow music market about their genre. Their genre doesn’t solely comprise eastern culture. Also they use tunes from northern europe and usually use measures 9-8 and psychedelic components. Sometimes the band makes surprise with adding their brothers on different instruments for the live shows. Viya the band which moves with fellowship of Oppa Tzupa Zound Zystem. So they are proceeding with their brothers. Now, they are working on materials for their first album (planning for september 2010). “

Humberto Luis Schenone was born in Buenos Aires on September 6th 1955. Since his childhood had some school trouble for his pleasure of beating over anything, making “candombe-batucada”. Graduated as psychologist in 1985, he dedicated himself to his professional activities and for some time, to study Spanish guitar.
In 1990 he assumed his role in music as percussionist. After different periods travelling and living in Brazil, he settled a house 30 kms away from Buenos Aires where he built his first “percussion-room” and started his studies of afro-american rhythms with several important teachers.
He has been part of several bands related with afro-percussion, bossa nova, samba, salsa, rock, south-american folk, tango, etc. Nowadays, again in Buenos Aires, he works on his solo project CD collections: “Human Tracks”, “The Rhythms of Life I & II”, “Human Fights”, etc. , dedicates part of his time to the construction of ceramic udus and participates as guest musician in different groups.
